Interview With An Author
Penname: W6C
Real Name: we'll just stick with wolverine6claws..... *grins*
General location on planet: northeast coast of the U.S.
Bio: 40 y.o. male, single but attached
Favorite fiction(s): XMen, SG-Atlantis
Favorite fictional character(s): Wolverine and Storm, of course
Favorite pairing(s) if any: Logan and Ororo obviously... I also
like Logan with Cassie Lathrop... and write Logan/Remy for the fans at Logan/Remy
group as well.
What got you interested in writing: I've always enjoyed vocabulary,
learning new words and about words, the proper use of words, etc. I think being
able to communicate properly; our thoughts, feelings, desires, etc is very important
and I believe that when a person can express themselves clearly and succinctly
it also conveys confidence, intelligence and a sense of reliability that others
can put their confidence in.
What genres of writing do you prefer/work in: Mostly comics;
XMen, in particular. I've never tried another genre, although many of my stories
could be considered erotica and/or romance. I'm a die-hard romantic and, for
me, the most important and most interesting part of any story is a relationship
between the characters, whether good or bad. Even adversaries need to be profound
and well-developed characters if the reader is going to care about either one
or both and they need to care about the outcome of the story if they're going
to see it through to the end. So, I'd have to say that I write comic fantasy
and adventure as well as romance/erotica.
What writers have inspired you: Oh, boy... umm... probably Stephen
King inspired me the most. I have no wish to write in the genre he does but
his portrayal of characters in his books always captivated me. He always took
the time to flesh out every character, to make you feel you know them personally
and that made me care about them, made me want to turn the page and see how
they come through whatever ordeal he's put in front of them. The Stand is my
all-time favorite novel, not just of King's but of all I've ever read. Why?
It's chalk full of interesting, well-rounded characters and, whether I like
the character or not, he made me want to know what becomes of them.

After rescuing Logan from a Weapon X facility, where he had been held for nearly six weeks, the X-Men have noticed a vast change in his behavior. Reverting back to the isolationist he was when they first brought him on the team, he has kept to himself. He won’t talk about what happened at the facility, and not only does he no longer make passes at Jean anymore, he seems extremely uncomfortable when any form of affection is shown, to him, or anyone else on the team. They try to help him through his trauma. Part 1-4 Part 5-8 Part 9-12 Part 13-16 Part 17-20 Part 21-24 Part 25-28 Part 29- |
